EasyGates.co.uk launched in 2002 with a small selection of products available to purchase and now, 13 years on has two websites (trade and non-trade) offering over a thousand products to customers across the UK. Both sites are regularly updated with special offers, industry news and the latest in technical support and assistance documents.
Managing Director of EasyGates, Tony Daniels-Gooding said:
‘When we launched the website back in 2002 we saw a marked increase in sales and profit that have led to a very healthy number of sales now placed online. Whilst we take pride and go to great detail with the information available on the site we still ensure customers can order or ask for advice via the telephone to our sales and technical team.
‘We introduced EasyGates Direct in March of this year, which has enabled us to offer tailor made options to trade only customers on products ranging from safety edges to gate motor kits and specialist component parts. The site stocks all major manufacturer merchandise and offers next day delivery with pre-defined time slots to requested locations.
Since the launch of the initial site, the company has grown it’s workforce, premises and product range and are currently updating the shopping basket element of the original site to improve speed and processing.
